About me

Hi, I’m Verity — a personal trainer, wife, and mum of four, based in Corsham, Wiltshire.

I’m 42, and over the past four years I’ve been on a profound journey of transformation — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. I’ve lost over three stone, dropped three dress sizes, and worked hard to overcome anxiety, depression, and low self-confidence. I know first-hand how challenging it can be to put yourself first when life feels busy, overwhelming, and demanding.

I was adopted from Sri Lanka when I was very young, and that early experience shaped my understanding of identity, resilience, and the importance of feeling accepted and supported. It’s one of the reasons I approach my work with empathy, kindness, and absolutely no judgement — everyone has a story, and every journey is valid.

After having children, I experienced the familiar struggles so many women face: lack of time, loss of confidence, and feeling disconnected from my own body. That lived experience is at the heart of my coaching. I don’t believe in extremes, pressure, or unrealistic expectations. I believe in sustainable habits, realistic goals, and support that fits around real life.

My mission is to help women — especially mums — rebuild confidence, improve strength and fitness, and feel good in their bodies again. I offer a highly personal, supportive approach, tailoring every programme to the individual so that each client feels understood, valued, and capable.

My coaching is rooted in honesty, compassion, and real-life experience. I’m deeply passionate about mental health, wellbeing, and empowering women to achieve lasting results — not just physically, but in how they feel about themselves.

You don’t need to be “fit enough” to start. You just need to start — and I’ll support you every step of the way.

Personal Training & Health Coaching

I provide personal training programmes to support both mental and physical health for women who find it hard to find the time and motivation to exercise, and who may find gyms daunting. I understand these challenges intimately, and my approach is designed to fit seamlessly into a busy lifestyle. I aim to make fitness accessible, affordable,  enjoyable, and effective for women seeking real, sustainable results.
